The MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pots are available at the MAC Counters and online for €20,. Quality wise it’s definitely not a bad product, but it’s just not the best. I don’t think it’s an essential for cream eyeshadow lovers like I am and I don’t think it’s better than the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s. So, overall I do like the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Bare Study, but I’m not in love. The only reason why I prefer the MAC Paint Pots over the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s is because they won’t dry out as quickly. Those are way more intense, they stay even better and I just like them a slight bit more. I honestly feel like the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s are just as amazing, or maybe even better. It has the same amount of pigmentation, which is not as intense as the pigmentation of the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s, but pigmented enough to make a difference, and it does help with keeping my eyeshadows in place all day.īut to be honest, do I like this more than the Maybelline Color Tattoo’s or the P2 cream shadows? Do I think it’s worth the 20 Euro’s? No. When I apply the one in Vintage Selection I can get away with just using my fingers, but when I apply this one I do definitely need a brush to kind of buff it in and I was kind of disappointed by that.īut aside from that, quality wise it’s not much different from the Paint Pot in Vintage Selection. I feel like this one doesn’t apply as evenly and I feel like it kind of gathers in some places. It is a drying formula so you have to be very quick in blending it out because if it sets down it is a task to blend it. It’s a little less creamy and it’s not as easy to apply. Cons of the Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly: The paint pot does not come with a spatula or an applicator, you have to dig in your finger to get the product. The texture of this Paint Pot is a little different from the texture of the one I have in the shade Vintage Selection. Because it’s just a base I don’t mind it too much, but I would have liked it a lot better if it wasn’t as yellow. However, I’m not a huge fan of the yellowy undertone. I think it’s pretty and I think it goes well with pretty much every eye look I will ever create. It’s a very pretty champagny gold colour with a bit of a yellow undertone to it. At least, it was back in the day when I started watching Youtube video’s and doing my own makeup. The colour Bare Study is, as I mentioned before, quite a popular colour. I think it looks professional and clean and it’s definitely not cheap looking at all. It contains 5 grams of product and is very compact and easy to take with you when you’re travelling. The MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Bare Study comes in a small, heavy glass jar with a black lid. If you’re interested in finding out whether or not I ended up loving the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Bare Study or not, and whether or not I like it as much as the MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Vintage Selection, keep on reading! A while ago I finally decided to order it and give it a shot. I heard so many good things about it back then, but I never really got the chance to give it a try. Back in the day, Bare Study was one of the most popular MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pots.
