Then it was "well there were substitutions made and that caused a price difference" - wow, you mean "bait and switch" sounds illegal. I was fortunate that I had a wait time only of 15 mins on this number: 87 The girl that answered the phone could not explain the different totals. Was placed on hold found another phone number while I was waiting, used my cell phone to call that number - two phones going. Called the number they posted in the contact us for help section. When I pulled up the past order on the my account page - there was yet another total $70.85. However, my credit card statement showed that I was charged $90.88. ![]() Found a coupon for $20 off and free delivery on first order - great right? Well, my grocery total came to $59 (after coupon and free delivery) I paid via credit card. Thought I would use this online ordering service for my father-in-law who lives in Chicago - we live in Georgia. I will not use this service or shop at this store again. I do not appreciate being lied to, outsourced on, and treated like an idiot by your employees. I don't care if you have to make two trips, I don't care if you can not complete the whole order in general. We then checked the store, they were in fact fully stocked on every missing item on the list! We tried talking to someone about this and they then lied to us and said "the other half was just sent out for delivery" and not to worry. They looked at the receipt and told me they were out of stock on all of those items. ![]() ![]() We called to complain and the guy just sympathized saying "yea, the door dash thing sucks." I then went into the store to see where the rest of my order was. However, the meats were warm, the soft stuff was crushed, about 40% of the groceries were missing. This would not have been an issue, if just a bit awkward and annoying. Turns out Jewel is outsourcing their deliveries to door dash with out letting the customer know first. I finally went outside, he dropped my groceries and sprinted away. This turned into a very awkward conversation as there was a strong language barrier and he could not seem to explain that he had my groceries. we were confused as we had not ordered door dash. A half hour after our window we got a text from door dash. The groceries took way longer than expected. A guy showed up in a refrigerated Jewel truck, he was polite and very helpful.
